Creating custom templates is a great productivity boost for your content creation strategy. If you have a certain article structure you like to follow, you can easily and quickly create a new article based on your pre-created template.
How to create templates?
1. In the article editor, click on "Extra tools"
In the article editor, click on the button found at the bottom of the left sidebar labeled "Extra tools"
2. Click on create template
Within the extra tools sidebar, you should see an option to create a new template, click on the button to do so
3. Give your template a name
Once the dialog form opens, give your template a name and optionally a description. Once done, click on the dark button labeled "create template"
4. Create a new article from your template
Once the template has been saved, you can now create new articles from this template.
In the template select box, you custom templates are listed before the Blogity default templates, in brackets you will see either "user defined" or "system defined".
Click on you user defined template, and create your article. It should produce a copy of the template as expected.

To see all your templates you can visit the templates page found in the left sidebar. There we list all the default Blogity templates and the ones you have created.
